    Description

    When the great battle, Ragnarok begins, Heimdall,  the all seeing god with sound his great gjallarhorn.  This gjallarhorn is a tribute to him, and bears an image of him sounding the great horn. The tip of the horn is a hand carved,  stamped, painted, and oiled leather wrap. The runic inscription is in short twig younger futhark and reads "sound me and wake the gods." The reverse side of the horn has his name, also in short twig, runes common to Norway and Sweden. The mouthpiece is cut into the horn and takes some technique to sound.
